Welcome to the website of the The mission of the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation is to help individuals and our community understand and alleviate problems that lead to emotional suffering and disability and to enhance their capacity for personal development and improved community functioning.
Fall 2008 Fundraising Campaign. Imagine.... On October 27th, NCPF mailed our New NCPF Brochure to 1,400 friends who have been touched by one of our programs or events over the past 13 years. We have asked each of you to Imagine a more resilient community. Together we can create what we are imagining. Membership in the Friends of NCPF is open to all who seek a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships and the many forces affecting individuals and our community. NCPF is applying the concepts of psychoanalysis in the community around us. We invite you to join online today, help your community and enjoy some member-only benefits. Announcements 2008 Raft Fellowship Announced More Details The North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation and the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society are pleased to announce that Katherine Johnson, MD was recently awarded the second annual David Raft Fellowship to help defray the costs of her tuition as she pursues studies at the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas (PECC). Open Sky Children Scholarship Fund The NCPF is pleased to announce the establishment of the Open Sky Children's Scholarship Fund. The Open Sky Fund will be used to provide scholarship support for financially-needy and/or at-risk children, as identified by the Scholarship Committee, to attend the Open Sky Aikikai School of Martial Arts.
