Celebrate Resiliency Benefit as seen on My Carolina Today
Online registration ends on March 25th at midnight. Tickets will be available the day of the event however we will not be able to accept discounts at the door. Tickets can be purchased beginning at Noon at the Silent Auction in the Main Building, Peace College or at the Door beginning at 2:15pm.

The is a benefit event to support
outreach activities including Peaceful Schools-NC, Speaker Bureau and Youth Education, Faith community outreach, Mental Health Professional outreach, Business outreach, Communication  Award, and the Psychoanalytic Endowment.


Dr. Richard Kogan will give a lecture and performance entitled The Mind and Music of George Gershwin. Dr. Kogan will discuss Gershwin's artistic development, illustrating his talk with performances of selected works from Gershwin's music including Rhapsody in Blue. He will discuss the emotional difficulties that Gershwin had to contend with and how his struggle and his musical talents combined in some wonderfully creative ways. Dr. Kogan states that "Gershwin discovered music early on and was completely transformed by it." 
 

After the lecture and performance, attendees may attend a reception and silent auction to toast 15 years of community outreach and the impact psychoanalysis has made in North Carolina for the past 100 years. Your $75 ticket includes 1-1/2 hr. concert, reception and silent auction including items from Fearrington Inn, Carolina Inn, Grove Park Inn, Carolina Hurricanes, Durham Bulls, Blue Water Spa, 411 West, 18 Seaboard and more.
